Multisig Deployment and Setup

Deployment is the process of activating your wallet on the blockchain, enabling transactions and interactions. Non-standard wallets, like multisig, require manual deployment to complete setup.

Multisig Setup

  1. Fund the Wallet: Ensure the wallet has a balance of approximately $0.50 in native tokens. This amount covers deployment fees and is sufficient for the process.

  1. Click Deploy in the wallet interface.

  1. Choose Wallet Type: Select Multisig wallet for deployment.

Multisig Wallet Setup:

  • Set Waiting time for transaction confirmation: Specify the amount of time the transaction needs to be approved by the Custodians. Otherwise, the transaction will expire after this period.

  • Set Confirmation Threshold: Specify the number of confirmations required to approve transactions. For example, if you have three custodians, you may require at least two confirmations for each transaction. This adds an additional layer of security by requiring multiple approvals, which is especially useful for shared or organizational accounts.

  • Select Custodians: Choose the addresses of the custodians who will have authority over the wallet. Custodians are the wallet’s authorized signers and must confirm transactions.

The fastest way to see public key is to click Info on the Main Screen.

  1. Confirm and Complete Deployment: Approve the deployment transaction. Wait for the process to complete, after which the wallet will be fully operational.

This setup ensures that any transaction requires the specified level of authorization before being finalized, providing an additional security barrier.
