Accessing Keys Management
To manage your keys go to Manage Seeds and Accounts, then choose the relevant seed. You will see a list of all keys associated with that seed.
Enabling or Disabling Keys
SparX generates multiple keys with each seed phrase. You can enable or disable these keys based on your needs, such as for organizing assets across different categories or for security purposes:
Enabling Keys: To display a key in your wallet, click Add Key. This allows account creation and transactions under that key.
Disabling Keys: Uncheck any key you no longer want displayed. The key will remain stored under your seed but won’t appear in your wallet’s active accounts.
Reasons to Use Multiple Keys
Organisation: Separates funds by purpose, such as personal vs. business assets or testing environments.
Security: Helps reduce risk by spreading assets across different keys.
Privacy: Allows for discrete management of activities across various accounts.
Managing Each Key Individually
Each key has additional options for identification and usage:
Settings: Use the gear icon next to a key to change its name, making it easily recognizable for its specific purpose.
Copy Public Key: Copy the public key if you need it for sharing or specific transactions.
Associated Accounts: View all accounts created under each key to keep track of your asset structure.
These options provide clear control over your accounts and access points, ensuring that SparX Wallet remains both organized and secure according to your needs.
