## **Selecting an Account**
To switch between accounts, open the list by clicking the icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Select the account you wish to use for transactions, and it will become active for your current session.
## **Creating a New Account**
If you need to set up an new account:
1. Open My accounts menu and click **Add account**.
2. Open the **Add Account** menu, click **Create new account**. Then, select seed where you want to create an account and click **Select**. Choose your account type. Options include:
* **Default** – Standard account suitable for most users.
* **Multi-Signature** – Requires multiple confirmations, offering added security. (Please read this article to get instructions [creating-a-multisignature-account](https://docs.sparxwallet.com/use/multigeniture-account/creating-a-multisignature-account "mention") )
3. Complete the setup process following the on-screen prompts. Your new account will appear in the account list.
